The Birdwing Dress Pattern Preview

The Pheasant Dress pattern test is nearing completion with publication planned within the next few weeks, which means that it’s time to start working on the next JMD pattern!

The Birdwing Dress is inspired by the flowing prairie dresses of the 1970s as well as medieval fantasy dresses. Several dress and top variations can be made with this pattern for either a classic, 70s style look or for an outfit perfect for a renfaire! The Birdwing Dress will be available with A-G/H cup sizes in both of JMD’s separately drafted Marian (0-16) and Guinevere (Plus-Size Friendly 14-32) size ranges. The Birdwing Dress will also be interchangeable with other patterns in JMD’s Plum Blossom Line.

This pattern is perfect for contrasting lace and sheer fabrics! Samples are planned for mid-February with the pattern tester call following shortly after.
