Hi! I'm Joy from Joseon Modern Designs and I'm looking for pattern testers who are interested in testing the Swordgrass Dress pattern, which is inspired by the timelessly elegant bias cut slip dresses of the 1930s and 1990s/Y2K era and combines both vintage and modern techniques and features.
Mix and match bias cut slip dress options include a front cowl neckline with a choice of spaghetti or wide (bra-friendly!) shoulder straps and a midi or fairy length. The fairy length includes additional 90s/Y2K elements with an asymmetrical hi-low hem and three sweeping back godets for a stunning evening look! The fairy length can also be styled for a fantasy/Renfaire gown fit for a fae.

-Two separately drafted size ranges are available to test: Marian (0-16) and plus-size friendly Guinevere (14-32), both in cup sizes A-G/H
-Pattern testers can also choose from an A4/Letter, A0/Copy Shop, or Projector file.
The pattern tester call will close on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 9pm PST. Selected pattern testers will be notified by Sunday, Dec. 21 by 9pm PST and will receive their files by Tuesday, Dec. 23 by 9pm PST. The pattern test will close on Wed, Jan. 14 at 9pm PST (~3 weeks, 3 weekends).

This is an unpaid test; however, testers will receive a free JMD pattern credit (subject to JMD's Terms of Service) in exchange for completing the pattern test, which involves sewing the dress, sending in a photo of the completed garment, and filling out a feedback form. They will also receive an updated copy of the Swordgrass Dress pattern once it's published.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: 58in/147.3cm is the minimum fabric width required for the Marian size range (0-16). The Guinevere size range (14-32) requires a minimum 60in/152.4cm fabric width.
