Hi! I'm Joy from Joseon Modern Designs and I'm looking for pattern testers who are interested in testing the new and improved Catbird Dress Pattern, which is inspired by flowing, 1970s prairie dresses and RenFaire gowns!

After pattern tester feedback from Round 1 (a huge thanks to all the pattern testers!), some of the Round 2 of the Catbird Dress pattern test adjustments include:

-(Guinevere Sizes 14-32 ONLY) Adjusted built-up neckline

-(All sizes) Shortened renaissance style sleeve attachment

-Improved instructions

-Opt. Cut Charts with dimensions for large rectangular pattern pieces

Two separately drafted size ranges are available to test: Marian (0-16) and plus-size friendly Guinevere (14-32), both in cup sizes A-G/H with two bicep options.

Features include:

-Built-Up Neckline + Scoop Neck

-Choice of Angel Wing Sleeves, Puff Sleeves, or Renaissance Style Puff Sleeves

-Tiered Wide or Narrow Flared Skirt available in Four Lengths: Separate Top (Non-Tiered), Short, Midi, or Full

-Seamed or Laced-up Front

-Choice of Dress or Separate Top

-Wide Waistband with (Opt.) Waist Ties

-(Opt.) Anchored In-seam Pockets

-Choice of Partial or Full Lining

-Centered or Lapped Zipper Options

-Variations

-Yardage Recommendations made with optional Lace/Ribbon Placement in Mind!

Pattern testers can also choose from an A4/Letter, A0/Copy Shop, or Projector file.

The pattern tester call will close on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 9pm PST. Selected pattern testers will be notified by Monday, Sept. 29 by 9pm PST and will receive their files by Wednesday, Oct. 1 by 9pm PST. The pattern test will close on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 9pm PST (~3.5 weeks).

This is an unpaid test; however, testers will receive a free JMD pattern credit (subject to JMD's Terms of Service) in exchange for completing the pattern test. They will also receive an updated copy of the Catbird pattern once it's published.
